Terms & Conditions

OVERVIEW

This website is operated by Laoise Dublin. Throughout the website, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Laoise Dublin.

Laoise Dublin offers this website, including all information, tools, products and services available through it, subject to your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and any policies referred to within them.

By visiting our website and/or purchasing something from us, you engage with our services and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the website, including visitors and customers.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before accessing or using our website. If you do not agree with them, you should not use the website or purchase products through it.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or otherwise affects any statutory rights you may have under applicable Irish or EU consumer law.

1. ONLINE STORE TERMS

By using this website and placing an order, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.

You may not use our products, website or services for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.

You must not:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation;
  • Infringe our intellectual property rights or those of another person;
  • Transmit viruses, malware or other harmful code;
  • Attempt to interfere with the security or proper operation of the website;
  • Use the website for fraudulent or misleading purposes.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to our website where these Terms & Conditions are materially breached.

2. GENERAL CONDITIONS

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where we have a legitimate reason to do so, including suspected fraud, payment problems, product unavailability, obvious pricing errors or misuse of our website.

Where an order that has already been paid for is cancelled by us, any amount due to you will be refunded in accordance with applicable law.

You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or commercially exploit any part of our website or services without our express written permission.

Your payment information is processed through secure payment providers. Laoise Dublin does not directly store your full payment card details.

3. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the information available on our website is accurate, complete and up to date.

However, occasional errors, inaccuracies or omissions may occur.

We reserve the right to correct errors and update information where necessary.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights or allows us to alter an existing consumer contract where doing so would be unlawful.

4. PRODUCTS & PRODUCT INFORMATION

Certain products may be available exclusively online and quantities may be limited.

We make reasonable efforts to display our products, including their colours, photographs, descriptions, measurements and other characteristics, as accurately as possible.

However, the appearance of colours may vary slightly depending on your device, screen settings, lighting and photography.

Measurements may also vary slightly where products are measured manually.

Product photographs are intended to represent the products as accurately as reasonably possible.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty, incorrect, not as described or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

5. PRICES

Product prices are displayed on our website and may change from time to time.

We reserve the right to change prices, promotions or discounts. Any such change will not affect an order for which a binding contract has already been formed, except where permitted by law.

The price applicable to your purchase will be clearly displayed before you complete your order.

Any mandatory charges payable by you will be disclosed before you complete your purchase.

6. CUSTOMS, TAXES & IMPORT CHARGES

Laoise Dublin works with international fulfilment partners and some products may be dispatched from facilities outside Ireland and outside the European Union, including facilities in Asia.

Where applicable, customs duties, import taxes and other applicable import charges are covered by Laoise Dublin as part of our fulfilment process.

You will not be required to pay additional customs or import charges upon delivery.

The amount displayed at checkout is the amount payable for your order, excluding only any optional services or charges that are clearly disclosed before you complete your purchase.

7. ORDERS & CONTRACT FORMATION

Products displayed on our website constitute an invitation to place an order and do not, by themselves, constitute acceptance of an order.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order before acceptance where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including:

  • Product unavailability;
  • An obvious pricing or product information error;
  • Payment authorisation failure;
  • Suspected fraudulent activity;
  • Delivery restrictions;
  • An inability to fulfil the order.

If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the applicable amount will be refunded.

8. ORDER CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES

If you wish to cancel or amend your order before dispatch, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order.

Our fulfilment process is highly automated and orders are forwarded to our fulfilment partners shortly after they are placed.

After the first 24 hours, your order may already have entered the fulfilment process and we cannot guarantee that it can be cancelled or amended before dispatch.

If your order has already been processed or dispatched, we may no longer be able to stop the shipment.

In this situation, please wait until you receive your order and then follow the applicable return procedure.

This 24-hour cancellation period relates to our operational ability to stop or amend an order before dispatch. It does not limit or replace any statutory cancellation rights available to you under applicable Irish or EU consumer law.

Please refer to our Refund Policy for further information.

9. DELIVERY

Orders are normally processed within 1–3 business days.

Our estimated delivery time is 8–12 business days after dispatch.

Orders placed on Friday evenings, weekends or public holidays may take slightly longer to process.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including carrier delays, customs processing, severe weather, public holidays or unusually high order volumes.

We offer Free Standard Delivery on all orders unless otherwise clearly stated before purchase.

Some orders may be dispatched by international fulfilment partners, including fulfilment facilities located in Asia.

If an order contains multiple products, the products may occasionally arrive in separate parcels at no additional delivery cost.

Please refer to our Delivery Policy for complete information regarding processing, dispatch, tracking and delivery.

Nothing in our stated delivery estimates affects your statutory rights regarding delayed or non-delivered goods.

10. DELIVERY INFORMATION

You are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery and contact information when placing your order.

Please ensure that your:

  • Full name;
  • Street address;
  • House or apartment number;
  • Town or city;
  • Eircode, where applicable;
  • Telephone number; and
  • Email address

are entered correctly.

If you notice an error after placing your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will make reasonable efforts to correct your information before dispatch, but changes cannot be guaranteed once an order has entered the fulfilment process.

If a parcel cannot be delivered because the address supplied by the customer was incorrect or incomplete, additional delivery costs may apply if the parcel needs to be resent, where permitted by applicable law.

11. RETURNS & REFUNDS

Laoise Dublin offers a 30-day returns period for eligible products, subject to the conditions contained in our Refund Policy.

For change-of-mind returns, approved returns must be sent to our designated central return facility in Asia, unless our Customer Care team provides you with a different return address.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of return shipping for change-of-mind returns, where permitted by applicable law.

You must contact our Customer Care team before returning an item so that we can provide you with the correct return address and instructions.

Do not return products to the sender's address shown on the original parcel unless we have specifically instructed you to do so.

Different rules may apply to faulty, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods.

Please read our Refund Policy for complete information before making a return.

Nothing in our voluntary 30-day returns policy limits your statutory consumer rights.

12. STATUTORY RIGHT TO CANCEL

For most eligible online purchases, consumers have a statutory right to cancel the contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods, subject to applicable legal exceptions.

This statutory cancellation right is separate from our operational 24-hour pre-dispatch cancellation period and our additional 30-day returns policy.

Where the statutory right to cancel applies, information about how to exercise that right, applicable return deadlines, return costs and refunds is provided in our Refund Policy.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions restricts any statutory cancellation rights available to you under applicable consumer law.

13. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT GOODS

If you receive a product that is faulty, damaged, incorrect, not as described or otherwise does not conform to the contract, please contact our Customer Care team as soon as possible.

Please provide your order number, a description of the issue and photographs where appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances and your applicable statutory rights, an appropriate remedy may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Where applicable consumer law requires us to bear the cost of returning faulty, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming goods, you will not be required to bear that return cost.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory rights in relation to faulty or non-conforming goods.

14. PAYMENT

Available payment methods will be displayed at checkout.

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers using appropriate security measures.

Laoise Dublin does not directly store your complete credit or debit card details.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate payment and billing information when placing an order.

We reserve the right to reject an order where payment cannot be authorised or where there are reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent activity.

15. PROMOTIONS & DISCOUNT CODES

From time to time, Laoise Dublin may offer promotional discounts, promotional codes or other special offers.

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
  • Only one promotional code may be used per order;
  • Promotional offers may have an expiry date;
  • Certain products may be excluded;
  • Promotional discounts cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders.

Any additional conditions applicable to a particular promotion will be disclosed with that promotion.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.

16. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY

Products may be available in limited quantities.

Adding a product to your basket does not reserve that product.

If a product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you where necessary and provide an appropriate refund for any product we are unable to supply.

We reserve the right to limit product quantities where reasonably necessary, including to prevent fraudulent activity or unauthorised commercial resale.

17. ERRORS, INACCURACIES & OMISSIONS

Occasionally, our website may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions relating to product descriptions, prices, promotions, availability or delivery information.

We reserve the right to correct errors and update information.

Where an error affects an order you have already placed, we will deal with the situation fairly and in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Nothing in this section gives us the right to unilaterally alter a concluded consumer contract where doing so would be unlawful.

18. THIRD-PARTY TOOLS & SERVICES

Our website may use or provide access to services, tools, payment systems or applications supplied by third parties.

Your use of certain third-party services may also be subject to the applicable third party's terms and privacy practices.

We are not responsible for independent third-party websites that you choose to access through external links on our website.

Nothing in this section excludes any responsibility that Laoise Dublin cannot legally exclude in relation to products or services sold to you.

19. THIRD-PARTY LINKS

Our website may contain links to websites operated by third parties.

These links may be provided for convenience or additional information.

We do not control independent third-party websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

You should review the applicable policies and terms before entering into a transaction directly with a third party.

20. CUSTOMER REVIEWS, COMMENTS & CONTENT

If you submit a review, comment, photograph or other content to us, you confirm that you have the right to submit that content and that it does not:

  • Infringe another person's intellectual property rights;
  • Violate another person's privacy;
  • Contain unlawful, abusive or defamatory material;
  • Contain malicious software;
  • Contain deliberately false or misleading information.

Where permitted by law, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use content that you voluntarily submit to us for purposes connected with operating, improving and promoting our business.

We reserve the right to moderate or remove content where reasonably necessary, including content that violates these Terms & Conditions or applicable law.

21. PERSONAL INFORMATION

The collection and processing of personal information through our website is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Please read our Privacy Policy for further information about how we collect, use, store and protect personal data.

22. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, the content available on this website, including text, branding, logos, graphics, layout and other original website material, is owned by or licensed to Laoise Dublin and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use the website for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit or create derivative works from protected website content without permission, except where permitted by law.

23. PROHIBITED USES

You may not use this website:

  • For unlawful or unauthorised purposes;
  • To solicit or participate in unlawful activity;
  • To violate applicable laws or regulations;
  • To infringe intellectual property rights;
  • To harass, abuse, threaten or unlawfully discriminate against another person;
  • To submit deliberately false or misleading information;
  • To transmit viruses, malware or harmful code;
  • To unlawfully collect personal information;
  • To interfere with or circumvent website security;
  • To attempt unauthorised access to our systems;
  • To engage in fraudulent activity.

We may restrict or terminate access to the website where there is a material breach of these requirements.

24. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We aim to keep our website available and functioning correctly, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.

We may occasionally suspend or restrict access for maintenance, security, technical or operational reasons.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

25. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits your statutory consumer rights or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the extent permitted by law, Laoise Dublin will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or losses arising from circumstances outside our reasonable control, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

If you are purchasing as a consumer, these Terms & Conditions do not exclude any remedies available to you under applicable consumer law.

26. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found by a competent authority or court to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as modified or removed to the minimum extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

27. TERMINATION

These Terms & Conditions remain effective while you use our website or services.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the website where you materially breach these Terms & Conditions or use the website unlawfully.

Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.

28. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms & Conditions, together with our Refund Policy, Delivery Policy, Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly incorporated into the contract, constitute the applicable terms governing your use of our website and purchases from Laoise Dublin.

Nothing in this section limits any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

29. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions and contracts entered into through our website are governed by the law applicable to the contract and are subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions deprives a consumer of any mandatory rights or protections available under applicable Irish or EU consumer law.

30. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, including to reflect changes to our website, business operations or legal obligations.

The latest version will always be available on this page.

Changes will apply from the date the updated Terms & Conditions are published and will not retrospectively alter concluded contracts where doing so would be unlawful.
